  • INQUIRE: Fill out an inquiry form & book a call to discuss your needs.

  • GET STARTED: If we’re a good fit, I’ll send over a project proposal with the details we discussed on our call. We’ll get your contract signed, a project date secured, and a 30% deposit to lock in your start date. *payment plans are available to suit your needs.

  • PREP-WORK: You’ll fill out a couple forms - one about your business and goals/preferences for your website and another with the content for your website. You’ll also send over your website photos.

  • WEBSITE STRATEGY: Next, I’ll bring to life the visual vision for your site and merge your user and business goals. We’ll collaborate here to ensure alignment on the vision.

  • WEB DESIGN MOCKUP: Once we’re aligned, I’ll start your website mockup and get your feedback to make sure you’re happy with where things are headed.

  • DEVELOPMENT: Here I’ll jump into Squarespace and start developing. I use a smart coding process to make your website stand out while keeping it easy for you to edit and maintain. I’ll also get your feedback on any final refinements at this stage.

  • DOMAIN SET UP & LAUNCH: Now it’s time to get your domain purchased or connected and launch your site!

  • VIDEO TRAINING & CELEBRATE: I’ll send you a personalized video training so you know how to navigate and edit your site and we’ll celebrate!

THE TIMELINE

  • 8-12 weeks depending on the scope of the project - a typical custom project takes up to 8 weeks for design and development. If you desire branding and other add ons (shown below) the timeline naturally increases.

  • Before we start your project, it’s important I have both your website copy and photos as these impact the design. Therefore, most projects are booked out at least a month in advance to allow you time to prepare these assets.

  • Custom projects start at $2,000. However, this price will fluctuate due to add-ons or scope of the project.

  • After you inquire and book a call, I will send a proposal with everything we discussed and what the cost would be.

branding essentials

Align your website design with the right visuals through branding in order to ensure the expression of your brand is conveying the right tone. The right colors and typography can drastically transform the message you’re sending.

    • Typography, color palette, and text-mark logo. (note: text-mark logos are text-only and do not include symbols.)

    • Brand Guidelines - i.e. the details of your branding: color palette codes in HEX, RGB, & CMYK along with your approved color palette pairings according to WCAG standards, font details like font hierarchy, weight, spacing, and height, and lastly your text-logo mark files in formats PNG, JPEG, PDF, & SVG.

    • PREP-WORK: I’ll send over a questionnaire in order to get to know your brand, its vision, and brand goals.

    • COLLABORATE: I’ll present 2-3 font pairings, color palettes, and word mark logos to represent your brand until we land on one you love.

    • PRESENT: At the end of your project I’ll send over your brand guidelines and how you can best use your new assets for future projects.

    • This process typically takes up to 2 weeks.

    • $500 for the curation of your branding essentials.

    • Additionally, if you’d like to use custom fonts, note that you’ll be responsible for purchasing font licensing. The cost is dependent on your websites views per month along with how much the creator is selling the rights for and if you’d like to use your fonts on your desktop for things like social media. Font prices can range from $30 up to $1,000+ but I’ve found there’s great options below the $200 range. We can discuss your budget ahead of time and stay within those means. Alternatively, I can choose free fonts if you prefer although customized fonts can bring new life to your projects and really help them stand out!

copy refinements

Get a second set of eyes on your website copy from someone who unites authentic expression with an understanding of storytelling, and that which inspires aligned action.

    • Website Copy Prompt Guide - this guide will help you create your compelling website copy by providing prompts for the content you’ll need for each page of your website (note: this guide is included in the web design and development offering, however, without edits on my end.)

    • For copy refinements, I’ll make up to 3 rounds of edits to the copy you provide from the guide, using your brands tone and leading with your values so that what is presented is a genuine expression of who you are, what you stand for, and how you can be of service to your potential customers.

    • PREP-WORK: After securing your website start date, I’ll send over the Website Copy Prompt Guide and give you time to complete it.

    • REVISIONS: Once completed, you’ll send it back to me for revisions.

    • REVISION CHECKS: You’ll take a look at the revisions I’ve made and give up to 3 rounds of feedback.

    • COPY GOES LIVE: Once approved, I’ll design your site with your copy in hand and watch it all come to life!

    • This process takes up to 2 weeks to complete once I receive your first copy prompt answers, depending on the scope of the project. For projects with additional pages and content, this timeline may increase.

    • When we book your start date, I’ll give you at least one month before our work together begins in order to prepare your copy and other assets. During this time, you’ll complete the Copy Prompt Guide so that you can send it off to me before your project starts.

    • Starting from $300 depending on the project scope. If there are additional pages and content, the price will adjust.

Flodesk allows your branding to match your emails sent - create a beautiful experience for those on your list and make it an extension of your newly crafted website.

    • Custom Email Templates: I design your email templates using your branding to create consistency and make your emails more enjoyable to read.

    • Proper Email Setup: I embed the codes and use DNS Verification to make sure your emails don’t land in spam.

    • Forms Design: I design the forms on your website with more flexibility. Other email providers have limited design options when it comes to forms.

    • Once you give me the go ahead, I’ll design your templates and give up to 3 rounds of changes.
